About Me

I am an aspiring video game developer trying to break out into the industry. I am currently going to George Brown College taking their Video Game Development program. I had also taken George Brown's 1 year Art and Design Foundations program.

I am very passionate about animation. I had first decided that I wanted to do animation back in grade 10 in my Communications Technology course. I had to do my first 2d animation. After doing that, I just knew I wanted to animation. I didn't even think about games a the time. I just knew I wanted to animation. It only hit me a month after that "OMG! I could do animation for games!" I did some 2d animation on my lunch break. I just liked doing simple stick fight animations. I think that gave me a slightly better feel for character animation. Although I liked 2d animation I really wanted to try 3d animation I didn't have a way to do it because my computer was no good and my school didn't have it.

I may decide to continue education after graduated and attend Sheridan taking their 3d animation program. I just need to wait and see what skill set a already have after graduating before deciding if I want/need more or if I have good tools to really make progress honing my skills on my own. I want to specialize in character animation.

In the end, I don't really mind what I end up animating whether it be for games, movies, commercials, etc as long as I can animate characters. Animation doesn't really feel like work to me. It's really fun.

Enough about education. Now for things about my actual self :P. I started gaming when I was 3 years old and continued to ever since. My parents at the time played games quite a bit themselves so I just ended up picking it up. I always had fun doing it. Some of my best memories is just playings video games with friends or family. Not many people have started at such an early age as I have so I always seem to have natural skill at a game and end up being better than all of my friends at it. They always seemed surprised if I die in a game or feel accomplished when they beat me :P.

I am like your typical nerd.....on the outside. I think playing games at an early age may have caused me to be a socially awkward penguin at an early age but taking this program and making such good friends really kind of broke me out of that shell. Although I am still fairly quiet I seem to be able to say the right thing at the right time and make an impact..mostly for laughs :P ( if you haven't I like to use this tongue dude :P) Because making these friends, I have becoming less socially awkward which would greatly impact my capability of networking.

I hope you got a good feel for who I am and my background. Stay tuned for future work by myself :P
